Cairns’ First Montessori Primary School!
We’re thrilled to announce that Cairns is getting a brand new Montessori primary school! Set to open its doors in 2026, our school will offer a unique educational experience that combines the time-tested Montessori method with a strong focus on STEM, critical thinking, and cultural inclusivity.
Our mission is to nurture independent, creative thinkers who are empowered to create positive change in the world. We’re committed to providing an education that respects each child’s unique developmental journey while preparing them for the challenges and opportunities of the 21st century.
We’re especially excited to share that we’ve just completed a 3D fly-through video of our planned school campus. This virtual tour gives you a glimpse into the carefully designed learning environments and outdoor spaces that will soon become a reality.

- Literacy crisis: One-third of our kids can’t read proficiently.
- Public vs. Private divide: Only half believe in public schools, while private institutions soar in esteem.
This isn’t just decline. It’s a free fall.
But we refuse to stand idle. We’re building a school – not just an institution, but a beacon of what education can and should be. And we’re committed to bridging the gap for Indigenous students.
Our groundbreaking scholarship program will reserve up to 20% of total enrollments for Indigenous children and their families. We’re not just opening doors; we’re actively dismantling barriers to quality education.
