25 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE
Building on community strength
The Montessori Children’s Foundation (MCF) runs programs developed and funded by the Masterman Montessori Indigenous Children’s Trust in the Far North Queensland region for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Island families. Currently MCF is working on the Raising Happy Kids program, a supported playgroup that utilises the Montessori Philosophy, Circle of Security methods and the 3a (Abecedarian) approach. Currently MCF operates the YumiHaus location and the Mooroobool Community centre. You can check out the program at: raisinghappykids.com.au.

Sally Connelan
Sally, our esteemed patron, has dedicated her professional career to early childhood development. Trained in both AMI Montessori Three to Six and Birth to Three, she embodies a lifelong passion for the child’s well-being. Sally’s commitment extends beyond the classroom, as evidenced by her role as an examiner for the Birth to Three oral exams. Her influence and insights significantly contribute to the foundation’s mission and impact.
